Shi Dong Market

Today and yesterday, I and 2 other English teachers at T.A.S., took our classes for a walk to the Shi Dong market. We walked about 10 minutes to get there; then the students walked all around the market gathering desriptive phrases related to the senses (they'll be creating a poem based on the descriptions they wrote down during their time at the market).

The sights, sounds, smells of the market are incredible. If you like seafood, there are some very interesting options. There are also some very intriguing potential menu items from chickens, pork, and beef :)

Several booths in the market offer gorgeous flowers at very reasonable prices. Orchids are available for an amazingly low price- and they are beautiful.
